Vervain

Verbena officinalis also known as the Enchanter’s herb, has a long association with magical and spiritual practices going back in time to the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans, as well as the Celtic Druids.
 
Vervain’s primary role was to protect believers against evil spells or negative energy and to purify sacred places, such as altars, ceremonial implements, temples, and private dwellings.
 
Vervain is used in love, protection, money drawing and prosperity spells. Added to soil, vervain encourages plants to flourish, sprinkled in the home, it attracts wealth and promotes peace and calm.
 
Use Vervain in purification ritual bathing. Folklore has it, that if someone has stolen something from you, confront them wearing vervain, and it will be returned.
